From Traditional Piloting to Cutting-Edge Aerial Filming
Initially pursuing a traditional pilot’s license to capture footage from fixed-wing aircraft, Nick quickly realized the limitations of conventional methods. In 2009, a game-changing moment inspired him: watching a camera-mounted remote-controlled helicopter achieve dynamic shots unattainable by airplanes. This pivotal experience led Nick to transition from newspaper photography to specializing in aerial filming, merging his passion with professional expertise.
